Target Background:
M-Ficolin (Ficolin-1) is a non-serum protein expressed in leukocytes and lungs. It forms complexes with MASP-1 and MASP-2, components of the lectin pathway of the complement system. It plays a role in recognizing certain bacteria and triggering immune responses.
